The annual Knights of Columbus Knight and Family of the Year banquet was held on Saturday January 23rd.
A great time was had by all and the food was fabulous. A total of 120 people were fed and if you were not one of those you missed a free steak dinner. Many thanks to all who volunteered their time to the success of this event.
Congratulations goes out to Steve Dayer who was nominated Knight of the Year and to Mark & Amy Bailey who were
nominated as Family of the Year. Both of these Knights are up for Knight and Family of the Year at the State level.
Congratulations also goes out to the other 22 Knights who were nominated as either Knight or Family of the month throughout 2009.
Many thanks to Father Charlie Thessing for making the trek over from Morrilton to be our guest speaker and as always his words of wisdom were ones that we could carry away both “Thinking” and “Chuckling” about.
